EVENT DESCRIPTION

Get an update on the latest for the proposed Veramendi project, the largest development since New Braunfels was founded. Once the pre-development plan is approved between ASA Properties and the City, ground could be broken as soon as late 2013 and then development over the next 20+ years creating a 5,000+ home master-planned community that would include an extension campus of Howard Payne University, a resort hotel on the Guadalupe River, 480 acres of parks and trails, a 30-acre urban-style town center, upscale shopping and employment, a new flood-control dam, the widening of portions of River Road and Loop 337, and much, much more.
