County approves 4B Board economic incentive for Boracay plant |

NEW BRAUNFELS — Comal County Commissioners’ Court on Thursday gave the go-ahead for the city’s 4B Board to provide funding for the extension of a natural gas line to the Boracay New Braunfels LLC plant.
Michael Meek, president of Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, explained that state law requires the county to give its approval before economic development incentives can be offered by a city to a company operating within the city’s extra-territorial jurisdiction.
