Bus routes in New Braunfels. It’s been tried before, without a lot of success, but as our population continues to climb, local and area officials are working together on another attempt to bring fixed-route bus service to the New Braunfels area…and it’ll be here before the end of the year. In fact, officials with the Alamo Area Council of Governments, Comal County Commissioner’s Court, and the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce are working on some final planning details, and they say that the first bus routes will start to run this October.
