An updated economic development strategy and vision for the City is underway.  Mayor  Gale Pospisil invited 55 citizens to participate for the next six months on one of four committees.  The process is an outgrowth of last fall's Mayor's Economic Development Summit.  The City Council has retained the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) to lead the process.  Chamber President Michael Meek will serve on a Governance Committee as well as a Staff Leadership Team and will also provide staffing assistance with City Development Coordinator Jeff Jewel during the process.
