Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-New    Braunfels has inked a unique pact with much of its medical staff.

Hospital administrators and physicians have entered into a three-year co-management agreement that could lead to improved patient care and greater operational efficiencies.

The New Braunfels hospital, located some 35 miles north of San Antonio, has about 130 physicians on its active medical staff. Not all of them are eligible to participate in the agreement as some have not been at the hospital long enough to meet requirements. But more than 60 of the physicians did sign the contract.
