Downtown Implementation Plan

Representatives of Buildnb.org is participating in a sixteen-member committee, including downtown business and property owners, county representation, historic home owners, downtown not-for-profit leaders and developers, to work with the City Manager and consultant on the Downtown Implementation project, projected to take approximately 6 – 9 months.

The goal of the plan is to provide a blueprint for re-development in the downtown area and will have significant input from the New Braunfels Community. Various partners are represented in the effort including Buildnb.org. Our representative, Mike Norris, has been recently added to the Downtown Master Plan Steering Committee.

Examples of specific objectives include; assessing the significant market demand that currently exists in our community; making downtown a destination to attract visits, stays and spending; and make downtown an economic center.
