Natural Resources

The committee has been a catalyst for projects that protect and enhance the valuable natural resources of New Braunfels and the Comal County area. Committee goals are:

• Work with New Braunfels Utilities to define and prioritize alternative energy possibilties that would benefit local businesses;
• Create a target list of alternative energy suppliers for recruitment;
• Communicate benefits/findings to membership;
• Work with New Braunfels Utilities to communicate water issues affecting the city and the county;
• Provide resources to committee and community for education purposes;
• Communicate findings via meetings and other Chamber mediums; and
• Survey members to evaluate membership knowledge of current water issues
