Talent Study

Several local organizations - including Christus Santa Rosa - New Braunfels, the City of New Braunfels, the Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation, Comal County and the Chamber - are supporting the New Braunfels Talent Project, an important project that will assess how people relate to living and working in the New Braunfels area. With the help of TIP Strategies, an online survey was drafted and seven area employers were asked to participate. Nearly 2,000 responses were received.

The information gathered from this online questionnaire will help our community and business leaders as they make decisions on critical issues, from keeping and attracting workers and businesses to devoting resources to entertainment and recreation options. Knowing what people value most - at work and at play - ultimately will help shape the future of our community. Results of the survey will be discussed at the June 11 at the Mayor's 3rd Economic Summit.

The New Braunfels Talent Project is a response to a most pressing challenge: the ability to prepare, retain and attract the talent needed to support the community’s economic vitality. The project is based on the assumption that if we as a community better understand how different segments of the population relate to work and place, you can make better decisions about education and training, city planning, economic development, and human resource management.
