NB 2020 | Ballots | NBBU | New Members | Ribbon Cuttings | Renewals

FROM THE CHAIR : MARIAN BENSON

November is the month we give thanks. For our faith, family and friends, freedom and the opportunity to do business. It is also the time in New Braunfels to enjoy fellowship.

This week we start Wurstfest. The perfect time for fun and to support our local organizations that use this venue to make money for their various projects from Little League to the Humane Society to your favorite civic group. So come on out and support them.

Following quite soon is Weihnachsmarkt benefiting the Sophienburg Museum and local vendors. A great Christmas shopping place and again a chance to see friends.

Santa will be arriving to help light up downtown and visit with the kids on Friday November 20. This is always a wonderful evening to enjoy our city at its very best.

Your Board of Directors will spend a considerable amount of time this month reviewing this year's goals and how they were met. An action plan for next year and beyond (NB 2020) will be formulated from the results of the survey you were asked to complete.

A busy month for all! Have a good one and we will see you at the "Mixer" this Wednesday at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and the Wurstfest mixer on Tuesday, November 3. You will need your Chamber membership card and "mixer" invitation for entry and drink tickets for Wurstfest. And remember to give thanks as we are truly blessed.
